Dr. Anil Kumar Dhiman holds postgraduate degrees in Political Science (M.A.), Botany (M.Sc.), Library and Information Science (M.L.I.Sc.), Computer Applications (M.Sc.), Information Technology (MBA), Human Resource Management (MBA), and degree in Education (B.Ed.). He has earned two doctoral (PhD) degrees—one in Botany and the other in Library and Information Science.
He has been serving as an Information Scientist at Gurukul Kangri (Deemed to be University), Haridwar, since 2003. During his distinguished academic career, Dr. Dhiman has made significant contributions to teaching, research, and scholarly communication. He has authored and edited 47 books and has published nearly 350 research papers and scholarly articles in journals, conference proceedings, and edited volumes of national and international repute. Dr. Dhiman has presented more than 100 research papers, including several invited lectures, at national and international conferences and seminars. He has represented India in international academic forums, presenting research papers in Kathmandu, Nepal (February–March 2011) and Lahore, Pakistan (November 2015). He has also delivered educational talks through radio broadcasts.
Over the years, Dr. Dhiman has served as Chairperson, Resource Person, and Member of Organizing Committees for numerous national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops. Since 2011, he has been associated with the Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology (CSTT), Ministry of Education (formerly MHRD), Government of India, New Delhi, as an Expert in Library and Information Science.
As a dedicated research supervisor, 23 M.Phil. (Library and Information Science) dissertations and 18 Ph.D. scholars have successfully completed their research under his guidance. He has also contributed extensively to academic publishing as a member of the editorial boards of several reputed journals. He is also serving as the Editor-in-Chief of the Professional Journal of Library & Information Technology, a peer-reviewed biannual journal published from Murad Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.
In recognition of his outstanding academic and professional contributions, Dr. Dhiman has received several prestigious awards including the Lifetime Achievement Award–2023, conferred by the Madhya Pradesh Library Association at Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur, on 13 August 2023, on the occasion of National Library Day. He was also honoured with the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award–2025 by the Social Development Federation, Agra, on 6 September 2025, during a ceremony held at S.V. Subharti University, Meerut.

Dr. Surendra Singh is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Library and Information Science, Centre for Distance and Online Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut (U.P.).
He holds B.A (Hons) – Political Science, M.A (Political Science), MLIS- (Master of Library & Information Science) and PhD (Library & Information Science) degrees.
He has 14 Research Papers in National & International Peer Reviewed & Scoups Journals and one Book " Library and its Users". He also possesses 12 Research Article presented /attended in National Conferences and has attended more than 75 E-Webinars. He has also attended four Workshops including to his credit including International Workshop on ‘Design and Development of Self Learning Materials for Distance, Online and Blended Learning’ (UGC-Approved Short-Term Professional Development Programme) organized by IGNOU, Delhi.
He has been awarded with the 'Best Librarian Award' by BKPJM Society, Baraut (Baghpat) and ‘Shri Ramsingh Ji Shant Ismriti Puraskar, 2024' by Ma Sarmista Seva Sanskar Foundation Baghpat & Team and "Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Award-2025" by M.S.S.S Foundation, Bursaini (Regd.), Baghpat Evam KITE Group of Institutions, Meerut
