Dr. Ankit Raj Singh is an esteemed academician, researcher, and innovator with over a decade of experience across academia, research, and industry. He currently serves as Assistant Professor of Management at the Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET), Samalkha (Panipat), where he teaches courses in Marketing, Brand Management, Corporate Social Responsibility, and International Trade. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Singh holds key leadership roles, including Chairman of the Placement & Summer Training Committee, Member of the Research & Development Committee, and Member of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
Dr. Singh earned his Doctorate in Management from Sharda University, where his research made significant contributions to wellness tourism and consumer behaviour. He has published extensively in Scopus-indexed, ABDC-listed, and UGC Care journals, and his research has been presented at numerous prestigious national and international academic conferences. He has also served as an editor for academic volumes within the domains of business and management.
With a profound understanding of customer behaviour and the evolving dynamics of the tourism and service industries, Dr. Singh's academic rigor is complemented by his extensive industry experience. Having explored all 24 states and 7 Union Territories of India, he integrates practical insights with theoretical frameworks in both his teaching and research.
A passionate advocate of innovation and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Dr. Singh has been granted and published several design patents and copyrights by the Government of India, bridging the gap between industry practices and academic research. His areas of expertise include wellness tourism, digital marketing, consumer behavior, organizational change, and artificial intelligence in management.
Dr. Singh has over 6 years of experience in the travel industry and has contributed to training programs at multinational corporations such as Hindustan Coca-Cola Private Limited and Tata Power Solar India Limited. He is also committed to social responsibility, having actively participated in Rotary International’s CSR initiatives, including literacy, health, and environmental programs. His exemplary work was recognized when he was honoured as the Best NCC Cadet of Delhi Directorate, alongside his service in Delhi Civil Defence.
